Marks Ready to Join UNOH All Stars at Eldora
Marks Finishes 18th During National Open at Williams Grove Speedway

Myerstown, PA (October 5, 2015) – After losing to Mother Nature on three consecutive occasions, Brent Marks finally returned to sprint car competition on Sunday evening, October 4. The Myerstown, Pennsylvania, native joined the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series at Williams Grove Speedway for the annual Champion Racing Oil National Open on Sunday night, chasing the $50,000 top prize and a career-first World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series victory. Despite the night ending short of potential, the “Myerstown Missile” qualified sixth in his respective group and earned a heat race victory. The 2015 Tuscarora 50 champion battled inside the top-ten during the entire Champion Racing Oil National Open main event before coming to a stop in the closing circuits. Marks was scored 18th.
“We had a great night going for us” said Brent Marks, “Started the night with a solid time and we won our heat race. We were running well in the feature…battled inside the top-ten the entire race until a car made contact with us from behind. Our bumpers ended up hooking which forced us to stop. We had a competitive car all night up until that point. We’ll put that behind us and try again this weekend with the All Stars at Eldora Speedway.”
The pilot of the Brent Marks Racing, BAPS Auto Paint & Supplies, Creekside Auto Sales, Fredericksburg Eagle Hotel, Diamond Toyota, Russell Heller Builders, #19M will now begin preparations for a trip west to Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio, on Saturday, October 10. Marks will join the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions at the “Big E” for their series finale on Saturday night, adding a little “Posse” flavor to the UNOH Sprintacular. The UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions will join the NRA “360” Sprint Invaders and the Buckeye Outlaw Sprint Series (B.O.S.S.) non-wing sprint cars at the historic half-mile, helping to wrap-up the 2015 UNOH All Star season and the Eldora Speedway season. Marks finished 16th during his most recent Eldora Speedway appearance on Saturday, July 18th, for the 32nd annual Kings Royal.
